 Peter Gray M (AUS), geb. 1964-10-04Twenty five year old Peter Gray is entering the Westfield for the first time. Peter is 138 from Geelong and has been a battler all his life. He had a hit and run accident when he was five and as a result Peter had to be specially educated. Peter competed in sixty two Triathlons (Single day and Multi day events) before entering the world of Ultras. He crewed for Greg Wishart in 1989 and knows that he is now ready to take on the challenge of the world's toughest race. ... Twenty five year old Geelong runner, Peter Gray became the youngest runner to finish the race when he crossed the line seventh. His time was seven days, eighteen hours and two minutes. In the first couple of days he was second. It was only the icy Snowy Mountains that would get the better of him.
